A Visit to Our Palmdale Site/Antelope Valley YouthBuild Receives a SMART Grant: On January 17, we traveled to Palmdale for a press conference announcing AV YouthBuild's $810,000 SMART Grant. Here are the photos I took at the event.

From Our LA CAUSA site:
As part of LA CAUSA's "Green the East Side Initiative," students are helping transform local liquor stores and convenient shops from food deserts to food oases. I went to check out the Grand Re-Opening of their first food oasis and took a couple pictures.
Students installed this produce refrigeration device and stocked it with healthy fruits and veggies.
